As I suspected, last week was a lot of work, but I made it though. However, I am expecting the same amount of intensity this week or even more. I have to catch up on make up work, finish the assessments for ISM, as well as work on my original work. On the bright side, I called a few professionals over the weekend, and a few actually answered my call. I have one interview on Tuesday which I am super excited for. I am still in the process of curating and developing my questions. Since now I know what my original work is and I am more aware on what the job entails, I want to ask questions that specifically pertain to neurodegeneration and the diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease to better help my project. This week, I got to see how open doctors are to help others understand more and how much they encourage others to pursue their dreams. I noticed this because the doctors that I have gotten a hold of were very open to the idea of an interview, or if they did not have time, they would refer me to others who possible could conduct the interview. I also reached out the the first professional I interviewed regarding a question I had on diagnosis of Alzheimer’s Disease. She was so open to giving me the resources I needed to understand the answer to my questions. Although I do feel a little washed out from last week, I am excited to move forward with my project and meet other professionals.
