The Independent study and Mentorship (ISM) program is a class provided by Frisco schools that allow students to explore their interests in the field of their choice. The goal of this program is to expose students to the job of their dreams with a mentor within that field. To get into ISM, students have to apply and pass an Interview process. The teacher will then pick a select group of students to join the program. Through the year, the students will expand their network and work on a portfolio, and by the end of the year, will present a final project. ISM is the perfect opportunity for students who are curious about a certain topic and want to take the next step to getting closer to their goals.
